Veritas Classical Christian Academy is a University-Model(R) School with a unique educational philosophy that includes high levels of parental involvement. All positions are part-time and on campus teaching days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Staff members (including teachers, office staff, substitutes and aids) must agree and sign our statement of faith, profess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, have a heart for teaching, and pass a background check.

NOW HIRING

2024-2025 School Year

Middle School or High School Math and Science

Come teach in a Christ-centered school with small class sizes. This is a part-time position on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays giving the classroom instruction and planning for the work completed by the students at home before they come back to class.

Update: Position is Filled: Office Assistant

Work in the office two days a week and see to essential functions of the Veritas school day. Serves as our librarian and works closely with the administration to accomplish clerical needs as well.  

 

Substitute Teachers

We are always in need Substitute Teachers. Our substitute teachers actually give instruction during the class times based on the lesson plans made by the class teacher. We need people with availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm.

The ideal candidate meets the following minimum requirements:

  1.  Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and is an active member of a local Christian church.

  2.  Holds a minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

  3.  Has at least 2 years teaching experience.

Teacher Essential duties include:

  1. Lesson plan preparation and entry into student information system

  2. Dynamic, engaging, and impactful classroom instruction that includes traditional & classical pedagogy

  3. Grading of student assignments and recording of grades

  4. Parent/student communication outside of class

  5. Monthly faculty meeting

  6. Faculty training  and co-teacher (parent training) prior to school starting

  7. Two parent/teacher conferences per year

  8. Assist with the monitoring and safe movement of students on campus

  9. Return of all curriculum, correction of errors, classroom cleanup at the conclusion of the school year
